Privacy

Your words stay yours.

This policy explains what BoliAI (myboli.live) collects when you translate, learn, speak or connect an AI assistant, why we need it, and how you stay in control. BoliAI is operated by Call Digital Fire LLP, Pune, India.

What we collect

Account details

Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo Google shares. Passwords are never visible to us.

What you translate, ask or say

Text you type, photos of signboards or documents you upload, and voice recordings you make while translating, practising or talking to BoliAI.

Learning and coin activity

Lessons finished, exam scores, certificates, streaks, saved phrase cards, coin balance and the reason for each coin change.

Basic device information

Language and voice preferences saved in your browser, plus limited technical logs used to keep the service fast, safe and working.

You can use most of BoliAI without an account. Without signing in we do not know who you are — we only count a small number of free uses to prevent abuse.

Why we use it

  • Give you the translation, learning, keyboard, voice and practice features you asked for.
  • Remember your preferred languages, voice speed and progress so the app feels personal.
  • Keep your coin wallet, rewards and plan accurate.
  • Stop spam, abusive language and misuse, and review reports raised in practice rooms.
  • Fix problems, measure whether features work and improve lessons and moods.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private translations or recordings to advertise to you.

Voice, photos and documents

The microphone and camera only turn on when you tap the button, and your browser asks you first. Recordings, photos and files you send are used to produce that one result — a transcript, a translation, a pronunciation score — and are not kept as a permanent library of your voice. Spoken answers are read out by a text-to-speech voice and cached briefly so replaying is instant.

The Boli Keyboard converts what you type inside your own browser. The Chrome extension works offline for typing and does not send your keystrokes to us.

The BoliAI connection for AI assistants

You can connect BoliAI to an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude from our connect page. This is how it handles your data:

  • You sign in on myboli.live and approve the connection yourself. Your password is never shared with the assistant — it receives only a permission token it can use on your behalf.
  • Once connected, the assistant can translate phrases, look up languages, search our classical and knowledge library, save phrase cards to your account and read your coin balance. It cannot read your password, your payment details or anyone else's account.
  • Anything you type into that assistant is also covered by that company's own privacy policy. We only see the requests it sends to BoliAI, and we log them to keep the service safe and within your plan.
  • You can disconnect at any time by removing BoliAI from the assistant's connector or app settings. Access stops immediately; anything already saved to your account stays until you delete it.

Practice rooms and other people

When you practise with a real person, your display name and what you send in that room are visible to your partner. Video and audio in a room travel directly between the two of you. If someone is reported, our moderators can review the reported messages or clip so we can act on abuse. You can block or report a partner at any time.

Who else is involved

To run BoliAI we rely on trusted providers: a hosting and database provider that stores your account, cards and coins securely; AI providers that produce translations, transcripts, spoken audio and lesson feedback; and an email provider for the updates you asked for. They may process your content only to deliver these features to you and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. Some of them operate outside India, so your data may be processed in other countries with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it, and how it's protected

Your account, saved cards, progress and coin history stay as long as your account exists. Safety and abuse records are kept only as long as needed to protect the service. Everything travels over an encrypted connection, and access rules make sure one person's data cannot be read by another.

BoliAI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.

Your choices

  • See and edit what BoliAI remembers about your learning in your account page.
  • Delete individual phrase cards, remembered facts or your whole account.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it.
  • Turn off the microphone and camera at any time in your browser settings.
  • Unsubscribe from our emails with one click.
